Wild Outdoors Return & Refund Policy
At Wild Outdoors, we want you to feel confident in every purchase. This policy explains our approach to returns and refunds, as well as your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA).
Change of Mind & Incorrect Selection
- We are not required to provide refunds if you change your mind or make an incorrect selection.
- Please choose carefully and review your order before completing your purchase, as changes cannot be made once submitted.
Faulty or Defective Goods (CGA Rights)
Under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if goods are:
- Faulty or defective
- Unsafe
- Not fit for purpose
- Do not match their description
Remedies:
- For minor issues, we may choose to repair, replace, or refund.
- For major issues, you may reject the goods and choose either a refund or replacement.
- These rights apply regardless of our change‑of‑mind policy.
How to Return
- Contact us at sales@wildoutdoors.co.nz with your order details.
- We will provide the correct return instructions and postal address (note: this may differ from the shipping label).
- Once the item is received, we will process your request promptly in line with the CGA.
Refund Process
- After inspection of your returned item, we will notify you by email regarding approval or rejection.
- If approved, your refund will be processed and credited to your original payment method within a specified number of days.
- Refunds can only be issued to the original payment method used at purchase.
Delayed or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card provider (processing times may vary).
- Reach out to your bank, as additional posting time may be required.
